365 Days as an Ogden!

This day last year was one of the best days of my life! Not only did I finally get to marry my best friend, but I also got to spend that exciting time of our lives with our closes family and friends, AND have the biggest dance party ever. The hubs doesn't get enough shout outs in my crazy business world, so I am so happy to share a post solely about him and us and this special day! Nothing makes me happier than being this guys wife, and this year has been nothing short of amazing. Of course there have been the picture perfect moments (like these amazing ones below from Elisabeth Carol Photography), but as with any blossoming marriage there was plenty of learning and not so pretty moments too. But all of it is part of our journey and our story together, so it couldn't be more beautiful!

Our wedding day was a perfectly sunny September day that I will never forget! I am sure you are shocked to hear that I did all of our paper products, signage, and little details for our wedding day :) I had so much fun bringing the vision to life and basically making our wedding decor my full time job. Wooooops! Our wedding colors were black and white with pops of gold, deep reds, blush pinks, and lots of greenery! So for our invitations, I knew I wanted to have a black outer envelope with white calligraphy, because it is my all time favorite combination! I used a watercolor floral pattern as an accent throughout our papers which brought that bright color that I love so much!

We had an amazing team of vendors that made the day happen seamlessly and beautifully, you can find the full team listed below the photo reel!

Cheers to our first year, and here's to many many more!

A fun way to incorporate some of the bride and grooms personality into the wedding invitation suite is to add a list of places that the bride and groom love! On ours, we included some restaurants, bars, and favorite places to go in Dallas!
